Pieces of Me

I just feel silenced

Like broken wings are the only way I’ll survive

Falling from a perch that once protected me

It’s lonely

When all that secured you, flys away

And now you’re stuck in your head

Unsure of yourself

Fixing all the problems that come your way

But feeling lost

Stuck in your own throat 

When words used to be what healed me

No where to go but down…

A place you could always come back up from

Anxiety

Stress

…loneliness

Being tired

But too tired 

Defeated in a way that won’t fix what’s broken

How do you fly again when everything seems impossible

So you fall…

Praying something will catch me

Mend what’s broken

Keep me going
